Austerity not big at 'Frottage Cottage'

While austerity is all the rage in parts of the EU, apparently the Brussel's based apparatchiks at Frottage Cottage have not yet gotten the memo. Apparently, some of the bureaucrats think that "mushrooming" institutions threaten the legitimacy of the only "democratic" parliament in the world where the elected members do not have legislative initiative.

What? So this means there will be no solid gold toilets in the daisy chain rumpus room?
