After years of thinking opposing the second war in Iraq and refusing to put their troops in combat positions in Afghanistan, Germans largely thought they had received an anti-jihad vaccination. Unfortunately, that is not the case. So, does Islam belong to German culture? Do we even have to seriously ask this question and compare so-called Christian and Jewish "extremists" with adherents of the Religion of Peace™?

Go to France

In the country where a man's home is supposed to be his castle, there is talk underway of banning smoking inside. My guess is that in the future, British smokers will be allowed to smoke as long as they go to France to do so.

Democrats look for new 420 bff's

The democrats, seeing their huge gains in 2006 and 2008 dangerously close to reversal, hope to attract young liberals in California with a ballot initiative to legalize cannabis. While I am no fan of criminalization, this seems to be the lowest form of pandering imaginable. File this one under "digging through the bottom of the barrel."

Indian recovery summer

It appears that there has been a "pause" in the glorious recovery summer of the people. The private sector shed 39,000 jobs last month.

Egypt's Pharaoh threatens World

Egypt's current reigning Pharaoh and all-powerful potentate has threatened that the West will be subjected to a wave of bombings if the Arabs don't get their way in negotiations with Israel. Why don't we play this game as well? Why doesn't the West demand that Arabs finally accept the Jewish state or we will start placing severe restrictions on these countries and their citizens? How many decades should we let the aggressive party that lost a series of wars they initiated to dictate terms of surrender to the rest of the world?

I have a couple of suggestions:

No freedom of movement in the West for Lebanese politicians until Palestinians have equal rights there.

No more Jizya for Palestine until they drop the "Right of Return" permanently.

No more money for our "moderate" Arab partners like Jordan and Egypt until they accept a policy of normalization instead of the cold peace they are currently pushing. This includes and end to all incitement in state media.

Any Arab country that wants to enjoy full diplomatic relations with the US must have full diplomatic relations with Israel.

It is time that the losers, even the "moderate" ones, stop dictating terms of surrender to the rest of us and threatening our citizens with global terror if they don't get their ways.

Germans killed in drone strike

Apparently, in the wake of recent alerts that plans were in the works for a "Mumbai style" attack on several European countries, including Germany, today it was announced that five German "militants" were killed in airstrikes meant to disrupt the plot.

I wonder if those guys had their mandatory Hapflichtversicherung?
